Our CNC speaker rings are cut from quality birch plywood for strong, reliable mounting in custom car audio builds. We do not use MDF for these rings. Birch is stronger, holds screws better, and handles vibration, flex, and real-world abuse better than MDF.

Birch is also a better choice when moisture and weather are a concern. MDF can swell, crumble, and fall apart when exposed to humidity or water. Birch plywood is more durable and better suited for doors, trunks, stunt walls, chucheros, marine-style builds, and other installs that may see heat, humidity, or outdoor conditions.

Available in 1/2" birch and 3/4" nominal birch, with the 3/4" material measuring approximately 11/16" actual thickness.
